Olympia Transition Program spent this week discussing self love and identifying qualities they love about themselves! We also carved a class pumpkin & wrote thank you cards to Mr. Cox & Mr. Frederick to celebrate Principal Appreciation (a week late)!

Algebra 1 classes have been working on creating and interpreting lines of best fit for scatter plots. Today, we collected data by counting the number of rubber bands it took to explode a pumpkin! Big THANK YOU to Funks Grove Pumpkins, Gourds & More for donating the pumpkins!!!!! Tomorrow, we will analyze our data and make some predictions. Check out the fun!

IHSA Football 1st Round Playoffs

Walk through what to do if your kid is being bullied online. First, step away. Ignoring a bully can be very effective. If the bullying continues, take screenshots or print out evidence. Then block the person. If it gets worse, report the behavior to a trusted adult.

The Spartans will be traveling to Nashville High School on Saturday Nov. 2 for the 1st Round of the IHSA 3A football playoffs. 2:30pm kickoff

The OHS boys cross country team competed in the IHSA Class 1 A Regionals today at Olympia. Congratulations to CJ Moore for advancing to Sectionals! Sectionals will be held next weekend in Elmwood. OHS girls cross country team advances to Sectionals! The girls cross country team competed in the IHSA Class 1A Regionals held at Olympia this morning. Today, the Olympia Transition Program went to Braffet Berry Farm. We read a story, got to see how apple cider donuts are made, took a hayride, went through a corn maze, & met goats. Then, we went to Busy Corner for our first sit down dining experience of the school year. We practiced reading the menu & ordering food independently. It was a great day! 🩵
